ECTOR Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 22, 2026

Information We Collect

We collect your account identifier and email through Firebase Authentication, plus account-level usage records needed to run ECTOR Pro credits and AI features. We also process script text and audio you submit when you request AI playback, conversion, or scene analysis.

How Data Is Stored

ECTOR stores account and credit data in Firebase services. In Cloud Firestore we currently store records such as user_credits (credit balance and subscription status) and user_ai_usage (aggregated AI usage counters). Your audition tracker entries are stored locally on your device using on-device storage and are not uploaded to ECTOR servers.

We do not store your pasted script or scene text in ECTOR's Firestore database. Script or scene text is only sent when you actively request AI features (like scene analysis or AI voice), then returned to the app response flow.

How We Use Information

We use data to authenticate accounts, calculate and deduct AI credits, handle subscriptions, deliver support, and monitor reliability of core app features.

Sharing and Third Parties

ECTOR uses third-party processors including Firebase (auth and backend infrastructure), RevenueCat (subscription events), OpenAI (text-to-speech and scene analysis), and ElevenLabs (voice synthesis and voice conversion when selected). We share only the data required to provide those services.

Data Retention and Security

We retain account and billing-related records while your account is active and as needed for legal, operational, and fraud prevention purposes. AI requests are transmitted over encrypted connections. For scene analysis requests, OpenAI API data is not used to train OpenAI models and is retained for a limited period under OpenAI API policy.

Your Rights and Choices

You can contact us to request account updates or deletion, ask privacy questions, or submit concerns about data handling.
